I'm
Aurora

I came into India’s life in July 2026 being rehomed to her, and let’s just say I’ve brought a whole new level of energy and personality to the household!
I’m a 5 year old Springador, which means I have plenty of energy, enthusiasm and working-dog instincts to keep me busy.
I’m also very much Roary’s dog, and the two of us have developed a special bond. I like to think I’ve given India a whole new perspective on life with not one but now two dogs, too!
India quickly discovered that a traditional one-hour walk wasn’t necessarily what I needed. In fact, I am proven evidence to owners out there that more exercise doesn’t always mean a more fulfilled dog. Give me a 30-minute walk followed by just 10 minutes of the right breed-specific enrichment, and I’m often ready to spend the rest of the day snoozing!
Otherwise, I am a raging loony asylum lady to society.
As a Springador, I need more than just physical exercise. My working-breed instincts need an outlet, too.
Activities that encourage me to sniff, search, think and use my natural abilities can make all the difference to how settled and content I feel.
Living with me has reinforced something India is passionate about teaching other owners: every dog is an individual, and understanding what makes them tick is key to helping them thrive. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to exercise, enrichment or training.
Roary taught India so much about the importance of understanding a dog’s needs, and now I’m adding my own lessons to the mix. Different dog, different personality, different needs, and another reminder of why getting to know the individual behind the breed matters so much and NOT to treat multi dog households as one body with two heads!
Of course, I still have plenty of energy for adventures, and I’m always ready to bring a little extra excitement to the day. But once my needs are met, I’m more than happy to curl up and recharge.
My motto? Work smarter, not longer!
