About me

Founder of Sit Walk Stay, force‑free dog trainer and behaviourist, based in Andover and working virtually across the UK.
Why I do this
I believe positive reinforcement is not only the kindest way to train a dog, it is one of the safest and most rewarding. I will never use anything damaging or aversive with your dog. Instead, I help you and your best friend feel comfortable, able to express yourselves without shame, judgement or restriction, grow in confidence, and move forward together.
Dogs do not behave the way they do to be difficult. Behaviour is communication. Once you understand what your dog is telling you, everything else starts to fall into place, and that is the work I care about most.
My experience and approach
I am a qualified and experienced force‑free, positive reinforcement trainer and behaviourist. I specialise in canine mental health, scent work, reactivity, assistance and helper dogs.
I work with dogs other people have given up on, and I take real pride in showing owners there is a better way forward.
I keep learning because this field keeps moving, and the dogs I work with deserve approaches that reflect what we actually understand now, not what was assumed twenty years ago.
Because great dog training and behaviour isn't about control.
It's about communication, understanding, and unlocking the potential in every dog.
What truly sets me apart is my commitment to seeing the dog and their guardian in front of me
Not just the behaviour we see, but two ends of the leash and everything going on underneath
Whether I'm helping a reactive dog gain confidence around triggers, developing advanced scent work skills, or supporting owners through complex behavioural challenges, my focus is always on building trust, understanding, and lasting success.
